Since 1989, Maria Montessori Kinderwelten gGmbH (formerly Montessori Kinderladen Wedding e.V.) has been supporting children in their development based on the pedagogical principles of Maria Montessori. Our children's house is located in the Berlin district of Wedding. True to Montessori pedagogy, we emphasize child-centered and individualized support, with a focus on fostering the children's independence and sense of responsibility. The children have the opportunity to learn and explore in a prepared environment that aligns with their natural interests and developmental needs.

The Golden Rainbow Chair as an Art Initiative with a Clear Message.
In 2025, the Montessori Children's House Sirius had the opportunity to participate in the art project "Golden Rainbow Chair" (#EveryChildIsGold) together with its initiator, Jutta Poppe. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for this special experience and for the opportunity to be part of this project.
In addition, our Managing Director of Maria Montessori Kinderwelten gGmbH, Cagla Erdemci, actively supports the #EveryChildIsGold initiative and is involved as a co-partner in the activities taking place on Hobrecht Bridge in Berlin.
The golden chair symbolizes the place that every child holds in our society. This place is not negotiable.
